Your Invitation to Join Chiltern Nomads Supervets

Who are we?
Chiltern Nomad Supervets were formed in Summer 2006 and are a multi-club team.
We are merging members from Berkhamstead Hockey Club and from Tring Hockey Club.

Tring Hockey Club already plays in the London League Veterans Hockey Leagues with very positive experiences
so we are looking wider to create a new team to include older members of all local Chiltern clubs

We are inviting members from other clubs in the area or sportsman who have left their clubs and want to keep playing team sport as it used to be played.

The Goal is to enter a 3rd new team in the Supervets London League
This will be a Saturday league team that is composed of players aged 50+ and 60+.
We can include a number of players from 45 + within the squad
(details of the league/teams/fixtures etc can be found at http://www.londonhockeyleague.org.uk

Who are our Target?
New Members Aged 45+, 50+ and 60+
Any Hockey Players who are 45+
Any Ex-Cricketers or Footballers
Any Fit sportsman with ball playing ability

What is the benefit of Playing Supervets Hockey?

1. We play in London League and have gradually built good quality hockey standard
2. The opportunity to play Team Sport again - We are not superstars- just keen and getting fitter
3. We play against teams of similar physical level in speed and fitness
4. The social environment after the game is convivial, mature and relaxed
5. Most players are now training regularly: This motivates you to get fitter
6. You will be healthier and more motivated to keep playing and enjoying sport generally
7. Opportunity for Representative honours in Regional and England Vets & Supervets
8. We have member who is an England & Regional Selector
9. Opportunity to play in National Cups at Supervets level
10. Join in on Supervets Tours to Italy & Holland

Multi - Club Team: Membership is open to members of other clubs
We do not expect that people will leave their club if they wish to stay. We are designing the members rate and the match fees to cater for two types of players, players who pay membership fees to other clubs and players who have no affiliation fees to other clubs

Start -Up Plans
